To find the best places to watch whales go to the coast and you’ll get close to these beautiful creatures.Whale-watching sounds complicated, but if done the right way, it is something worth experiencing. If you are lucky enough to catch a glimpse of these vast and majestic creatures, it will not be less than merely a fantasy. Before your first trip, you need to understand that whale watching can be a success or failure because there is no guarantee that you will see them in the wild. You can visit one of these US destinations for whale-watching. Check out the list given below:

San Diego, California

Visit San Diego in the midway January to catch up with the migration of gray whales. There are many attractions in this Californian city for whale watching. Boat tours of whales and seals, sea lions and dolphins, Carrillo National Monument, and Torrey Pines Sanctuary provide viewing areas for whale lovers. If you can not visit San Diego in winter and miss the gray whales, then you can catch up with blue whales or finned whales here from June to September. After taking the tour, you can relax in many family-friendly hotels nearby.

Santa Barbara, California

Check out unique gray whales migrating from the coast and discover another marine life-in fact, more than 27 species of whales and dolphins live in these waters at different times of the year. The best time is from February to early April, California gray whales. From May to September are blue whales (the largest animal ever known), minke, humpback whales, and occasionally right whales and orcas.

Maui Islands, Hawaii

If you didn't see the majestic humpback whales orbiting the island, it would not be a Maui trip. February is the best time to see them. In winter, several humpback whales calves. If you are lucky, you will see baby humpback whales (by boat, snorkeling, or paddle boarding) in one of Maui’s tourist products. Plan your vacation for whale-watching with United Airlines Reservations, and enjoy a peaceful time.

Islands of San Juan, Washington

One of the best places to watch killer whales (also known as killer whales) is gathered in the San Juan Islands off the Washington coast. Although orcas can be seen all year round, there are often three central pods called "Southern Dwellers" in the months from spring to autumn. The San Juan Islands are part of the Whale Trail, which is home to many whales in the Pacific Northwest. You can witness minke whales, humpback whales, and gray whales, as well as groups of sea lions on the deck of the whale watching cruise.

Virginia Beach

The Pacific is not the only ocean where you can watch whales. Virginia Beach, Virginia, is an east coast destination for whale watchers. Check out humpback whales here from December to March, but in Virginia Beach, whale watching peaks usually occur in January and February. In winter, whale watchers can even spot one or two whales. Even in the warmer months, dolphins can be found in the water.

Jacksonville, Florida

Watch the rare whale species this winter off the coast of Florida. North Atlantic right whales can be found in Jacksonville on Florida’sCape Canaveral’s waters. The North Atlantic right whale is one of the most endangered whale species globallyAlaska’s with fewer than 500 remaining. Seeing one of these whales should be on the bucket list of any animal lover.

Junawo Alaska

For most of the year, Alaska’s capital may be cold and freezing, but its appearance does attract a warm welcome from the whales that appear from April to November. You can generally see the humpback whales while you are on the coastline, but you can board an expedition ship and see them in the wild if you are looking for killer whales.

Bare Harbour in Maine

Summer in Maine has never been so fun! Regular whale-watching adventure tours depart from Bar Harbor, Maine. In mid of April, you are sure to see the hungry Fenbeck (right) and minke whales in the calm waters about 20 miles off Maine’s coast of Maine. As the waters are full of plankton, coccids, and fish, whales do not have field activities until October. In October, whales will go south to get warm water.

Visit these harbor and water bodies after you arrive here. Make sure you check out Alaska Airlines reservations and their policies before you book flights and decide to watch Wales enjoy your time.
